TRUCK DRIVER: (Part-Time)
The Spokesman-Review is looking for an energetic, reliable, motivated and safe part-time Truck Driver. The truck driver will be making local deliveries to our company distribution centers, load and unload the truck, and complete other assigned tasks. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working on a team, thrives in a fast paced environment, prefers to work late evening to early morning hours, and enjoys physical labor. This is the perfect position if you're looking for some additional work, or a part-time job that fits within daily life.
Responsibilities as a Driver:
•You will load and deliver newspapers to distribution
locations.
•You will stage newspaper bundles to be picked for delivery that morning.
•You will work primarily in the late night to early morning hours (approx. 9:00 pm- 5:30 am).
•Qualified applicants must be able to work unsupervised.
Qualifications:
•You have a valid driver's
license and an excellent
driving record. (Driving
records will be checked on
all final candidates. Only
those with clean records
in the last 3 years will be
considered for employment).
•Have the ability to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
•Have the ability to drive a truck under 26,000 GVW. Candidate's who will drive a truck over 26,001 GVW will be required to have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
The Spokesman-Review is the largest, most used and most trusted news and information provider in the Inland Northwest. We look for dedicated employees to support the production and distribution of our paper every morning of the week. As a member of the Transportation and Delivery department this position ensures that our newspapers are delivered on time to readers.
This part-time position will work less than 19 hours a week starting at $11.60/hr for non-CDL candidate and $11.85/hr for those candidates with a CDL.
